Dr. Philip Jimenez is a licensed podiatrist with more than a decade of experience in sports medicine and foot and ankle care. Throughout his career, he has worked with physical therapists, chiropractors, and pain management specialists, developing a multidisciplinary approach to foot health to help patients regain their comfort and mobility.
Dr. Jimenez received his medical training at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he explored his interests in sports medicine, orthopedics, and wound healing. During that time, he served as the co-founder of the school's Podiatric Surgery Journal Club.
After getting his medical degree, Dr. Jimenez completed a three-year surgical residency program at Saint Michaels Medical Center in Newark, NJ, graduating as chief resident. His training involved extensive work in diabetic wound care and surgical and nonsurgical techniques to manage common foot disorders, such as hammertoe and toenail fungus.
Dr. Jimenez is licensed to practice in the states of Texas and New Jersey and is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry and the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery.
Dr. Jimenez's clinical specialties include diabetic wound management, sports medicine, regenerative therapy, and both surgical and nonsurgical podiatric treatments. With his experience in multiple disciplines, he is focused on restoring the health and function of the foot so patients can regain their quality of life.
Dr. Phil is friendly and really takes initiative to provide his patients excellent care. So glad he makes the trip to Coopersburg every Monday.
